A Victoza® tracker for every day of the week.

PepLabo turns a daily Victoza® injection into a short routine: a reminder, one tap, a site on the map and, if you want, a note on how you feel.

How to track Victoza® in PepLabo

  1. Add Victoza® to your shelf

Search the library for Victoza®; it matches brand and substance names, even with typos. Pick the form you were given (single-dose pen, multi-dose pen, cartridge or vial) and add the lot and expiry if you like.

  2. Set a daily reminder

Choose Every day and one or more reminder times. Reminders arrive before, on time and when a dose is missed: Time Sensitive on iPhone, exact alarms on Android.

  3. Log each dose in one tap

The dose is saved with the date and time. Ready pens need no unit math, and the pen counts down if you entered its content.

  4. Rotate injection sites

Tap where the injection went on a front and back body map. The last site shows on the Today screen, and a weekly heat map shows which areas rested. When you log a dose, it suggests the area you have rested longest among the ones you use, and you can always pick another.

  5. Note how you feel

A quick check-in records energy, sleep, mood and symptoms such as nausea or an injection-site reaction. You can link it to a dose from the 72 hours before; the app draws no conclusions.

  6. Follow weight, share a report

Log weight by hand or import it from Apple Health or Health Connect (Pro). A PDF of your dose log (Pro) is ready for your next appointment.

What the label saysWhat PepLabo does with it
Missed dose: resume the once-daily regimen with the next scheduled dose; no extra dose [1].A follow-up arrives 30 minutes after a missed dose time. PepLabo never suggests an extra dose.
If more than 3 days have passed since the last dose, the label describes restarting at the starting dosage [1].Today shows your last dose and how long ago it was, so a gap of several days is visible at a glance. PepLabo never changes a dose.
Rotate injection sites within the same region to reduce the risk of cutaneous amyloidosis [1].Each log asks for the site on a front and back body map, and a weekly heat map shows which areas you used.
After first use, the pen can be kept for 30 days at room temperature or in the fridge [1].Enter the expiry date and PepLabo reminds you a week before and on the day. It does not count days since first use or days out of the fridge.

Questions

Can I switch from Victoza® to generic liraglutide in PepLabo?

Yes. Add the new pen as its own product and end the old schedule; your Victoza® history stays as it was. Whether to switch is a question for your prescriber or pharmacist.

Will a Victoza® reminder get through Focus mode?

On iPhone, dose reminders are Time Sensitive, so Focus modes can let them through if you allow it. On Android they use exact alarms to keep the time.

Does PepLabo tell me what Victoza® dose to take?

No. The amount, the timing and the treatment are decided by you and your prescriber; PepLabo writes down what was decided and reminds you when it is due.

Is PepLabo an official Victoza® app?

No. PepLabo is an independent tracking app. Victoza® is a trademark of Novo Nordisk A/S, and PepLabo is not affiliated with or endorsed by Novo Nordisk. For questions about the medicine itself, use the package leaflet and your prescriber.
